¿Por qué dater127 y no otro? ¿Tiene algún significado especial?

No tiene ningun significado especial. Solo me gustaba la combinacion de las letras

Why dater127 not another? Does it mean anything special?
There is not special reason for that name, i like the combo of the letters.

¿Cómo ves la escena del graffiti en tu pais? ¿Como podríamos mejórala?

No presto mucha atencion a la escena en mi pais. Pero yo creo que hay una escena bastante grande y la gente no deja de renovarse y siempre hay cosas nuevas.

How do you see the graffiti in your country? How could we improve it?
I haven’t spent attention to the graffiti in my country.I belive that the scene become bigger and there is always something new.

¿Cómo y cuando llego el graffiti a tu vida?

En 1994 tuve mi primer contacto con el graffiti.Habia un chaval en mi clase en la escuela, eso fue lo primero que vi.Desde entonces hago mis bocetos.

Apartir de 1995 empece a pintar con sprays mis primeras letras eran “DA” y un carácter de la sombra que yo copie de MODE2. En ese momento yo n osabia que era el graffiti y lo que era lo aprendi aproximademente en 1995 cuando conoci a un tipo llamado “TOME” en aquella epoca era un escritor famoso en mi ciudad y el me explico que era el graffiti. Le agradezco lo que me enseño ahora es uno de mis mejores amigos.

Desde 1997 firmo como “DATER”

How and when come the graffiti to your live?

1994 was my first contact with graffiti.There was a boy in my class in school and he done that,what i’ve seen.Since that i’ve produed my sketches.

1995 i’ve started with paint with cans.My first letters were“DA“and a shadow-character,wich i’ve copy from Mode2.In that moment, first i don’t know what graffiti was and what it was about .1995 i’ve started also with breaking where i’ve learned to know a guy, his name was Tome.He was in that time a famous writer in my city and he explained to me what it’s about in graffiti.I’m thanking him that i’ve learned to know him and who is till now one of my good friends.Since 1997 i paint the name „Dater“.

Últimamente esta muy de moda el término ser real o hacer algo real ¿Qué significado tiene este término para ti?

Ser real es muy importante para mi. Ya que tu tienes que ser leal a ti y a lo que estas haciendo. Esto es lo que tiene que haber de especial en tu trabajo, que la gente lo vea y sepa de donde procede. Y que la gente pueda verlo, es el trabajo de dater.

This very fashionable lately the term be real or do something real What does this term to you?

To be real is important for me.That you be loyal to what you doing and to yourself.That there is a special in your work,which people see and know where it’s from.And that people can see, it’s Daters work.

Es bien sabido por todos que el graffiti no es aceptado por la sociedad ya que algunos ineptos opinan que ensucian, destrozan etc. ¿Cómo ves este idea de graffiti a ojos de la gente? ¿Si tuvieras oportunidad de hablar con alguno de ellos como le demostrarías lo que es el graffiti?

El graffiti es algo mas de lo que la gente ve por las noticias. Por supuesto el graffiti es ilegal, pero ha crecido y se a convertido en algo mas como un arte, que va mas alla de escribir tu nombre sobre las paredes. En ocasiones hablo con estas personas y si pueden ver mi progreso ellos quedan positivamente sorprendidos. Ellos me dicen que mi trabajo es diferente entonces tu tienes que hacercarte a estas personas y que te dejen probar tu trabajo.

It is well known to all that graffiti is not accepted by society as some inept believe that litter, vandalize etc. What do you think this idea of graffiti in the eyes of the people? If you had a chance to talk with any of them as it would show what the graffiti?

Graffiti is more then what people get from news.For sure, graffiti is normal from illegal but it’s become bigger to a kind of art and it’s not the only one to write your name on walls.I always talk with these people and if the can watch my progress they often beeing positv surprise.They tell me, that my work is differnt then that what they normaly know about graffiti.So you have to talk to these kinf of people and let them taste your work!

¿Cuál es tu estilo y que representa este para ti?

Mi estilo es en mi opinion graffiti y esto es lo que yo represento.
What is your style and that represents this to you?

My style is in my opinion Graffiti and this is what i represent.

¿Cuándo haces una pieza que quieres transmitir con ella?

Normalmente no hay mensaje, pero trato de cambiar mi estilo y evolucionarlo. Me gusta jugar con las formas, colores y efectos de mi estilo.

When you do a piece what convey with her?

Normally there is no message,but i try to change my letters and let them grow up.I like to play with colours,forms and effects in my style.

¿Perteneces a alguna crew? ¿Como definirías el estilo de dicha crew?

Soy miembro de los loveletters, ETC(einen tick coler) y el equipo de escritores de ecko

Do you belong to a crew? How would you define the style of that crew?

I’m a member from Love Letters, ETC (Einen Tick Cooler) and Ecko Writer Team.

Se discute mucho el tema de alta o baja presión ¿Qué opinas sobre ello?

Cada uno es responsable del tipo de presion que usa. Pero si quieres ser alguien grande debes paracticar mucho y manejar la alta presion.

There is much discussion the issue of high or low pressure What do you think about it?

Everyone is responsible for then self,what kind of pressure you make .But if you want to be someone, you have to work hard and maybe you have high presure.

¿Algo que decir al que te dijo que nunca llegarías a nada con esto?

No olvides tener respeto sobre otras personas.

Something to say who told you never get anywhere with this?

Don’t forget to have and give respect to other people!
